About the role
A Project Architect at our firm is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for leading architectural projects through all phases from schematic design to construction administration. You'll serve as a primary client contact, manage relationships with owners, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, and coordinate with in-house engineering, interior design, and planning disciplines to deliver fully integrated project solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects through all phases — schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration
- Serve as a primary client contact, managing relationships with owners, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Cook up with in-house engineering, interior design, and planning disciplines to deliver fully integrated project solutions
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining the firm's high standards for design quality
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff and intern architects
- Contribute to business development efforts including proposals, presentations, and client relationship building
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, zoning, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional architecture experience with demonstrated project leadership across multiple phases
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program
- Architectural license preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure strongly encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in Revit required; experience with BIM coordination, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Strong design sensibility paired with technical rigor — you care equally about how it looks and how it's built
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to clients and collaborate across disciplines
- Experience across multiple market sectors preferred; curiosity and adaptability are essential
- LEED AP or other sustainability credentials a plus
