Project Architect
About the role
We're looking for a Project Architect who can evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria. You'll be working on minor adaptations and modifications, performing architectural assignments with direction but without immediate supervision, and recommending and selecting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications
- Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables
- Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions
- Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility
- Recommend and select procedures
- Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters
- Take responsibility for phases of individual revenue-producing projects as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
- Preferred qualifications: Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED, knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max Rhino and Grasshopper experience, minimum 5 years healthcare experience preferred in industry and local Columbus, Proven experience and successful project delivery with local and regional healthcare systems (OH), Ability to communicate and collaborate with healthcare clients in development, planning and design departments, Knowledgeable of technical architectural aspects of complex small, medium projects or routine large projects, Experience with and participation in Construction Administration phases of HC projects, Project Experience in Revit, Experience with Newforma and Bluebeam PDF collaboration sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- A minimum of 3 years experience
- Registered Architect
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Pay Transparency: Columbus: $75,880 - $108,400.
