Project Architect
About the role
The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of overall Architectural experience in efficient and aggressive project delivery methods. Strong skills in construction detailing, construction documents assembly, building component integration, specification development, engineering discipline coordination, project communication and leadership are required. This candidate must be able to integrate into an in-house multi-disciplinary team setting. Candidates should have extensive experience with Revit. Construction administration experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Integrate into an in-house multi-disciplinary team setting
- Develop construction documents and specifications
- Coordinate with project engineering disciplines
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Lead project teams towards efficient and aggressive project delivery
- Work with a diverse team of architects, engineers, planners, and designers on a wide range of project types
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Licensed Architect or the ability to gain licensure within 12 months
- Proficient in Revit
- 5-15 years of architecture experience
- Working knowledge of construction techniques and coordinating details
- Detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Costs at various stages of project development
- Experience with Design-Build Project Delivery
- Experience with Request for Proposal – RFP solicitations and project development
- Working knowledge of National Building Codes and Federal Design criteria
