Project Architect

About the role

The Careers team at Garver is seeking an experienced Project Architect/Project Coordinator to join our growing Buildings team in Little Rock or North Little Rock, AR. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of architectural experience in efficient and aggressive project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction documents and specifications
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure building component integration
• Lead project communication and provide technical guidance
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to simplify interaction and communication between architecture and engineering teams
• Contribute to the design process by blending functional requirements with aesthetic concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• Licensed Architect or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months
• Proficient in Revit
• 5-15 years of architecture experience
• Working knowledge of construction techniques and coordinating details
• Detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing Opinion of Probable Construction Costs
• Experience with Design-Build Project Delivery
• Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitations and project development
• Knowledge of National Building Codes and Federal Design criteria
