Project Architect
About the role
jones | haydu is seeking a Project Architect with 7–10 years of experience for a full-time position in our San Francisco studio.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the conception, coordination, and realization of high-end residential projects, often in collaboration with internationally based architects.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, and project teams throughout all phases of design and construction administration.
- Work on a diverse range of project types including hospitality, workplace, athletic, multifamily, and residential work.
- Support architectural intent through technical resolution, consultant coordination, construction administration, client communication, and design-sensitive problem solving.
Requirements
- Accredited professional architecture degree (BArch or MArch)
- 7–10 years of professional experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working directly with consultants, clients, and project teams
- Experience through all phases of design and construction administration
- High-end residential experience preferred
- Strong technical and detailing skills
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work within small project teams
- Licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred
Technical Requirements
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- Revit experience preferred
- Experience producing and coordinating construction document sets
- Experience with consultant coordination and interdisciplinary integration
- Additional software experience such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering, or visualization tools is a plus

Pay
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
Schedule
San Francisco Bay Area–based and involves regular in-office collaboration, consultant meetings, and periodic site visits.
