About the Role
Alloy Architecture is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Architect. Candidates must have strong architectural design and technical skills along with the ability to handle a variety of tasks. At Alloy Architecture, you will work as part of a team to develop architectural designs and produce drawings and documentation throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Design: Preparing initial sketches, drafting design plans, and working with clients and stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs.
- Construction Documents: Producing complete, detailed, and thorough construction documents, such as floor plans and elevations.
- Construction Administration: Administering the construction phase of the process, including shop drawing and submittal review, site observation, and reporting.
- Coordination: Coordinating the needs of the client with the work of designers, technical staff, and consultants.
- Communication: Communicating with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to keep them updated on the project’s progress.
- Quality Control: Maintaining quality control by checking construction documents, shop drawings, submittals, and other project documents.
Requirements
- Completion of a 5-year degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- 3-7 years of experience in an established architecture firm.
- Must have an Architectural License.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office 365 products.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Autocad Architecture, Trimble Sketchup, Enscape, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- LEED certification is a plus.
- Experience in K-12 and healthcare architecture is a plus.
