As a Project Analyst supporting the MANTA organization in Mission Systems, you will provide crucial analytical and program support to engineers, contributing to the success of innovative projects. This role involves offering analytical insights, program support, and guidance to MANTA engineering leaders across tasks such as Earned Value Management, Staffing Analysis, and Integrated Master Schedules.
Responsibilities
- Partner with MANTA engineering leadership to support workforce planning, staffing strategy, and resource management.
- Develop and maintain staffing plans by analyzing demand, available resources, skill needs, hiring requirements, and potential staffing gaps.
- Serve as a hiring focal, coordinating hiring needs, requisitions, candidate activity, onboarding, and workforce changes with leaders and partner organizations.
- Monitor and analyze employee utilization, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve direct charging and resource alignment to funded work.
- Support budget planning and financial management by tracking labor forecasts, actuals, staffing assumptions, and variances against plan.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide leadership with clear visibility into staffing, utilization, hiring, and financial performance.
- Partner with engineering leaders, Finance, HR, and Program Management to resolve staffing and execution challenges and support business objectives.
- Identify workforce and financial risks, communicate impacts to leadership, and help develop action plans and mitigation strategies.
- Drive process improvements and standardization to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and visibility of MANTA workforce and business planning.
Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- 1+ year of experience using Staffing Center to support workforce planning and staffing management within a large organization.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze data, manage large datasets, and develop reports or metrics.
- Experience supporting staffing, workforce planning, resource management, utilization, or related program/business activities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience analyzing data, identifying trends or risks, and communicating actionable information to leadership.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $75,800 - $144,200 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
