Responsibilities
- Aid in the planning, execution, and oversight of C-UAS programs throughout their lifecycle.
- Translate operational needs and warfighter requirements into technical and programmatic plans.
- Analyze drone threats and adversary tactics, and formulate program priorities and requirements.
- Support Test and Evaluation (T&E) events by designing realistic scenarios, evaluating system performance, identifying shortcomings, and providing recommendations.
- Assist in refining Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and Concepts of Employment (CONEMPs).
- Travel 25% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of hands-on C-UAS experience, or a total of 10 years’ experience without a degree.
- Working knowledge of C-UAS systems, including detection and mitigation.
- Operational understanding of C-UAS employment, including TTPs and real-world constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 10 years of C-UAS operational experience, including field deployments, exercises, or real-world C-UAS missions.
- Experience working with end users and incorporating operational feedback into system improvements.
- Experience with testing, evaluating, and fielding of C-UAS capabilities.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition process.
Qualifications
- Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Physical requirements include regular field work, including working outdoors for extended periods in environments that may include uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
