Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in the development or update of project plans for information technology projects.
- Maintains or tracks project milestones and deliverables.
- Assists with procurement and tracking of IT hardware and software, along with processing invoices to ensure deliverables meet functional and quality requirements within established parameters.
- Oversees switchboard and IT communication operations, monitoring and analyzing call activity trends and client support requests.
- Monitors and allocates resources and staff scheduling.
- Analyzes project requests, understands business requirements, and explores options for implementation.
- Provides cost estimates for project installations and recommends plans for new technologies and processes.
- Acquires quotes and assists with invoice processing for approved projects.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Identifies and addresses gaps in policies and procedures and develops plans to address them.
- Supports portfolio management processes and reports.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, regulations, and standards applicable to the job.
- Understanding of the University's mission, vision, and goals.
- Demonstrated skills in delivering superior customer service, short- and long-term planning, problem analysis and resolution, report preparation, interpersonal and organizational communication, both oral and written.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, develop and maintain effective working relationships, maintain accurate and orderly records, use independent judgment and initiative, organize and direct activities.
