Qualifications

  • 5 years of scheduling experience (experience in Utility Industry preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in Project Management, Project Controls, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Primavera Scheduling Software (P6) and MS Project experience required.
  • Experience with Scope Management Plan, Change Management Plan, Schedule Management Plan, Cost Management Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Human Resources Management Plan, Communication Management Plan, and Procurement Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the utility’s management team to monitor and manage the design and implementation of a distribution automation system.
  • Cook up with various program/project members to gather schedule data, including individual events, dependencies among events, and actual schedule progress.
  • Aid project managers with project schedules and tracking of deadlines to meet requirements.
  • Create and maintain project schedule that details the sequential phases of the project scope of work and analysis support using Primavera P6.
  • Analyze schedule and report to the program team throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Prepare planning schedule and track product release weekly in JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6.
  • Prepare, review, and track weekly project progress reports and participate in the daily scrum meeting (Certified SCRUM master a plus).
  • Support the utility’s management team to monitor and manage the design and implementation of a distribution automation system.
  • Cook up with various program/project members to gather schedule data, including individual events, dependencies among events, and actual schedule progress.
  • Aid project managers with project schedules and tracking of deadlines to meet requirements.
  • Analyze critical path activities for identification of potential delay impacts and risks.
  • Forecast all cost elements on the project, including project changes budget update information, expenditure information, and forecasts into the cost reporting system.
  • Generate monthly progress status reports, progress curves and reconcile committed costs to actual costs on a monthly basis.
