About the role
Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Project Analyst in Niskayuna, NY. An active DOE or DOD clearance is required, and US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements. Navarro is an award‑winning provider of turnkey solutions delivering comprehensive nuclear, environmental and technical services to federal agencies, commercial enterprises and private clients across the United States, supporting organizations such as the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, the Department of Defense and NASA, as well as commercial and private sector partners facing complex engineering, technical and environmental challenges. Navarro specializes in nuclear operations, environmental remediation, D&D, waste management, advanced energy, facilities management and technical and professional services. NNL is hiring a Project Analyst to support construction projects ($3 M–$80 M) at the Knolls Site, with possible support for the Kesselring Site as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated resource and financial schedules in Primavera.
- Track plans, conduct risk analysis, resolve conflicts, and monitor progress using project management techniques.
- Prepare performance metrics for management and customers.
- Process change controls and submit reports.
- Identify resource conflicts.
- Analyze budgets and workforce estimates.
- Develop parts of the Program Management Plan.
- Support meetings.
- Issue change controls.
- Prepare closeout reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency in scheduling software, preferably Primavera.
- Experience managing financial information.
- Active DOE or DOD clearance.
