Project Administrator
About the role
DLR Group’s Dallas studio is seeking a Project Administrator to support our projects during the construction phase. You will ensure the smooth execution of standard documentation workflows, organization, and communication tasks essential for the effective functioning of our project teams.
Responsibilities
- Confirm and manage construction phase contractual responsibilities.
- Coordinate with the construction phase team, including workflows, meetings, and communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key team members and serve as the primary point of contact for documentation and workflows.
- Establish and maintain tracking and logging for construction documentation workflows.
- Manage pay applications, ensuring compliance with DLR Group’s risk management standards and processing approvals.
- Handle submittals, RFIs, and cost documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with field reports, punch lists, and closeout procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of A/E construction phase processes and contractual responsibilities.
- Proficiency in task organization, completion tracking, and prioritization.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Vantagepoint, Newforma, Procore, and AIA Contract Document software.
