What You'll Do Day-To-Day

  • Assist project leadership for major commercial design, construction, expansion, extension, renovation or component replacement projects.
  • Assist with the coordination of project plans/schedules/materials to ensure project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Assist with the development of project assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members.
  • Coordinate multiple project activities including organizing personnel, materials and equipment.
  • Help define and forecast needed skills to meet project objectives.
  • While working under the direction of more senior project manager you will be supporting:
    • The process to perform scoping and feasibility studies for new products or opportunities related to the core business line which requires strong collaboration and interpersonal communication, ability to work with engineering, operations, safety, and procurement teams, and the ability to follow up and track action items.
    • Support capital improvement projects for the core business which requires basic project planning skills, the ability to use scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, P6), and strong task prioritization and time management.
    • Support gate reviews that review the new opportunities and support generating meeting minutes and presentations. Requires: Strong written communication skills, the ability to organize and maintain records, and proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint).

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Basic knowledge of project management plan development, implementation and administration including knowledge of processes, procedures and tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC-based applications.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and present data clearly and accurately to support decision-making.

Total Rewards Package

Salary: $30.40 - $39.80, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
