Responsibilities
- Preparation of project billings using an ERP accounting system (Vista Viewpoint) and in AIA format
- Processing and reviewing project payables
- Reviewing subcontractor billing documents for completeness
- Project support partnering with the Project Operations Team
- Accounting Team support with Vendor Statements
- Accounts payable email distribution
- Miscellaneous accounts payable assignments
Skills
- Using independent judgement and discretion to identify problems and make recommendations for solutions
Qualifications
- Accounting degree preferred; relevant accounting experience accepted
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in Construction Accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processing
- Understanding of AIA Forms
- Experience in ERP Accounting System (Vista Viewpoint preferred)
- Knowledge of subcontract commitments and purchase orders
- Understanding of retainage principles
