Project Accountant I
for section headings.
Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.
We must not include empty sections.
Thus sections:
- About the role: include intro paragraph plus maybe culture paragraph.
- Responsibilities: list from "What You Will Do:" bullet points.
- Requirements: maybe combine Must Haves and Nice To Haves? Could have Requirements section with Must Haves, and Qualifications/Skills separate? But we have headings for Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We need to decide how to split.
The posting has "What You Bring:" with Must Haves and Nice To Haves. Must Haves include degree, years experience, experience managing projects, understanding principles, ERP experience, Excel proficiency, analytical skills, communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities. Nice To Haves: experience in engineering/construction, knowledge of contract management, experience with percentage-of-completion.
We could map Must Haves to Requirements, Nice To Haves to Qualifications or Skills. But we also have Skills heading; we could put Excel proficiency, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication under Skills. However the instruction: "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can use any of those as appropriate.
We need to preserve all substantive info; we can split as we like but must not lose info.
Let's create:
- About the role: intro paragraph + culture paragraph.
- Responsibilities: list of duties from "What You Will Do:".
- Requirements: Must Haves (bullet list).
- Qualifications: Nice To Haves (bullet list).
- Skills: maybe we could include Excel proficiency etc but those are already in Must Haves. Could also put them under Skills but then they'd be duplicated. Better to keep Must Haves under Requirements, and maybe move Excel proficiency etc to Skills. But Must Haves already includes "Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel." and "Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills." and "Strong verbal and written communication skills." Those are skills. So we could split: Requirements: degree, years experience, managing full lifecycle, understanding principles, ERP experience. Skills: Excel proficiency, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, ability to manage multiple priorities. Qualifications: Nice To Haves.
But we must not lose any info. Let's decide.
We'll create sections:
- About the role: intro + culture.
- Responsibilities: duties list.
- Requirements: degree, years experience, managing full lifecycle, understanding principles, ERP experience.
- Skills: Excel proficiency, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Qualifications: Nice To Haves (engineering/construction experience, contract management knowledge, percentage-of-completion experience).
- Benefits: benefits list.
- Pay: pay range paragraph.
We must not include Schedule.
Now ensure we remove boilerplate: EEO statement, unsolicited resumes, etc.
Also remove duplicated lines? Not seeing duplicates.
Now format.
We'll produce HTML fragment:

Pay
The rate for this position generally ranges between $60,000 to 72,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO. We removed that.
Check for any leftover boilerplate: The paragraph about "CPL does not accept unsolicited resumes..." we removed. Good.
Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: The intro paragraph included all. The culture paragraph included all. Responsibilities list included all. Requirements list includes degree, years experience, full lifecycle, understanding principles, ERP experience. Did we miss "Must Haves" includes "Strong understanding of project accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, billing, and revenue recognition." included.
