Programming Coordinator, Memory Care

About the role

The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position at Spectrum Retirement Communities is responsible for creating and leading engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for residents in memory care.

Responsibilities

• Support the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities and events that are relevant, elevated, and purposeful for adult residents.
• Develop and maintain a monthly program calendar that offers a balanced mix of cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents.
• Influence and encourage residents to participate in activities through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist in medical transportation and provide innovative outings and excursions for residents, including assisting with entering and exiting community vehicles.

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, open mind, and a desire to create a wonderful lifestyle for residents.
• Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in using Internet resources and demonstrating an understanding of current technology.
• A valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
• At least 21 years of age with 3 years of driving experience.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 annually.

Schedule

This is a Full-Time position with a schedule of 9am to 5pm on Tuesday to Saturday.
