Programmer I
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Full Time Regular Programmer position should possess excellent technical skills and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. They must be a proficient problem solver with specialized expertise in HVAC Controls and Building Automation programming, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that enhance building performance and energy efficiency.
Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is $25.05 - $35.79 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
Work Experience
- At least one (1) year of work-related experience in a relevant field (Robotics, PLC, Machining, Software)
- At least three (3) years of work-related experience in graphic design
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and controls
- Basic experience with programming languages or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to follow instructions and work under supervision while gaining independence with experience
Additional Skills
- PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- One (1) years of experience as an HVAC controls technician or one (1) years of experience as an HVAC controls programmer
- One (1) years of experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation, I/A Series, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4
- EcoStruxure Building Operation Certification
- Experience with Building Automation Protocols including LON, BACnet, and Modbus
- One (1) years of experience with an associate's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, graphic design or related
