Program Supervisor

About the role

As a Program Supervisor at REM Community Services, you’ll facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and handle administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. You’ll supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing direct support such as assistance with daily activities, medication administration, and personal care. Duties are split between direct support, program activities, and supervision. You’ll also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP)
• Participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Provide direct support to individuals, including assistance with daily activities (meal preparation, medication administration, personal care)
• Facilitate community involvement through outings and transportation to work or other activities

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of related work experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and those served
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules
