Program Supervisor

Description Brief Description Supervises Direct Support Staff in the program areas, providing support with the implementation of daily and weekly programming, the implementation of personal plans, and the coordination of all direct care services provided by the facility to the individuals served in Community Day Services. Provides leadership, training, and coaching to staff, completes required assessments and documentation, and helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the program. Conduct oneself in a way that reflects the highest standards of professional courtesy and ethical practices to people served, staff, guardians, families, and all outside contacts Requirements Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human services and two year’s supervisory experience preferred, but related experience will be considered Supervisory experience is essential One year of experience with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred Valid Driver’s License Knowledge, Abilities, And Skills Strong leadership/administrative skills Ability to achieve goals through others Excels in training, leading, and motivating people Project management skills Effective time management skills Strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong analytical skills Strong ethical conduct Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of effective supervision practices Physical Requirements Regular reaching, grasping, and standing. Frequent walking and sitting. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Operates general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer.
