About the role
The Program Specialist serves as a strategic partner in advancing OCHIN’s mission by supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive clinical, operational, and organizational excellence. This role coordinates and executes program activities aligned with OCHIN’s strategic goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Program Specialist collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support program activities aligned with strategic goals, including day-to-day operations, project planning, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a key liaison to OCHIN members, customers, and partners by providing clear, timely, and customer-centric communication about program initiatives, updates, and engagement opportunities.
- Research, recommend, and implement improvements based on best practices and performance data to enhance program effectiveness and member value.
- Create and maintain program documentation, reports, and visual content (e.g., dashboards, presentations) to support internal and external communication, learning, and decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management to ensure program sustainability and resource alignment.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across internal and external partners.
Prior to the team interview, all candidates must complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment to evaluate alignment with OCHIN’s nine core competencies. This assessment focuses on fit and success, not passing or failing.
Work Location and Travel
OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office. Employees work remotely from home, and some positions may require on-site support for new software installations. Travel is determined based on business needs and may include up to 20% nationwide travel for on-site Go Live support.

OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation. The final offer will consider relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
Salary range: $74,519 – $119,231
