About the District
The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) is the fourth-largest school district in California, located in southern Sacramento County. EGUSD covers 320 square miles and includes 62 traditional public schools, five alternative education schools, an adult school, one charter school, and a virtual academy. The district offers a multitude of educational programs, including over 60 career-themed academies and pathways within 13 industry sectors. Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- Dedicated Special Education experience preferred
- Valid California Administrative Services credential or Certificate/Letter of eligibility for an Administrative credential
- Valid California Class C driver’s license
Required documents must be scanned and attached in .PDF format, including:
- Copy of all current valid credentials from the CTC website (print information from each individual credential screen, then scan and upload)
- Signed Letter of Introduction
- Three signed Letters of Recommendation
- Resume
For the Credential Copy attachment, include the CTC page stating your credential expiration date and specific subject matter. Out-of-state credentialed applicants must attach their appropriate out-of-state credential.
