About the role
The Program Security Representative II provides multi-discipline security support for one or more customer Special Access Programs. This position ensures strict adherence to security policies and procedures, assists in developing and executing policies, supports daily security needs, identifies vulnerabilities, and coordinates with SAP security personnel.
Responsibilities
- Affirm strict adherence to the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
- Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access Program, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral data.
- Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
- Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
- Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
- Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
- Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
- Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security-related topics.
- Cook up with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education and awareness program.
- Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information.
- Conduct preliminary inquiries and generate damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; or
- Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; or
- 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Qualifications
- 8 years of relevant experience; or
- 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Skills
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification may count toward no more than 5 years of experience.
- SAP experience.
Pay
Target Salary Range: $116,700 - $117,000
