Program Scheduler, Principal

About the role

The Mission Planning Division (AFLCMC/C3M) leads the development, modernization, and sustainment of enterprise Mission Planning Systems (MPS) supporting all U.S. Air Force aviation platforms. The Division delivers modular, integrated mission planning capabilities that connect operational tasking and intelligence data with aircraft avionics and aircrew mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines within the PMO
• Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams)
• Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success
• Support requirements development, plan preparation and assess ability to achieve results
• Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management
• Perform corrective actions as necessary to achieve end result

Requirements

• Due to the sensitivity of the customer, U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret level clearance.
• Mission Planning Background.
• Advanced understanding of scheduling tools, to include Microsoft Project.
• Bachelor's or master's Degree in a related field and 15 years of experience with at least 5 years working in the DoD sector.
