Program Sales Account Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the assigned foodservice chain(s) by ensuring program objectives and responsibilities are executed within the established guidelines.
• Daily support of the Account Executive.
• Customer liaison, in daily contact with the customer and the Account Executive, ready to help with all support needs.
• Manage group email to resolve issues that arise.
• Handle customer issues on Saturday deliveries, including recoveries and who to call, with an escalation path.
• Order confirmations from foodservice accounts to review for JIT and special order items.
• Wholesale daily reporting needed for outs, unauthorized and allocations.
• Communicate to customers and run any additional reporting needed by the Account Executive.
• Support special projects at the direction of Jr. Account Executive, Account Executives and/or Director.
• Submit new item number requests (as needed, in emergencies).
• Maintain order guides.
• Ensure customers are well supported daily and that Harbor’s customer service team needs are communicated to the Account Executive when issues arise.
• Develop strong partnerships with internal departments and external customer base to help support the Account Executive and deliver a high level of service.
• Help communicate all product information internally and externally.
• Monitor inventory reports and work with the Account Executive to ensure adequate inventory for key programs and customer concepts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Foodservice product knowledge required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong Microsoft office skills in addition to all office programs.
• Ability to work on projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with working in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Experience working in the foodservice industry preferred.

Pay and Schedule

• The pay range is between $27.80/hour and $29.80/hour.
• The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday.
