About the role

The Program Recreation Leader is responsible for planning and executing recreational activities that enhance the overall well-being and engagement of participants in various community programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recreational programs that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
• Coordinate with community partners to secure resources and facilities for programs.
• Assess participant needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
• Document program outcomes and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation management or similar field.
• Proven ability to plan and execute successful community programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
