About the role
The Program Recreation Leader is responsible for planning and executing recreational activities that enhance the overall well-being and engagement of participants in various community programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recreational programs that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
- Coordinate with community partners to secure resources and facilities for programs.
- Assess participant needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
- Document program outcomes and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation management or similar field.
- Proven ability to plan and execute successful community programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- First aid and CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
