Program/Project Manager 2

About the role
As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will support projects and programs that drive operational excellence and business process improvement initiatives within Global Operations. You will be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will contribute to improving operational efficiency, enabling business process improvements, and supporting successful project execution across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations and business process improvement projects that address business challenges and support organizational goals.
- Develop and implement solutions that improve operational and business processes while supporting key organizational objectives.
- Provide actionable insights for management to support decision making through data collection and analysis.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.
- Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
- This is a graduate eligible role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP or CAPM.
- Continuous improvement certifications in Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
Schedule
Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories:
- On-site Flex: You’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
- Virtual Flex: You’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
