About the role
Aon is seeking a Program Professional Under the supervision of the Project Solutions Leader, this role involves managing and administering the designated Controlled Insurance Program ("CIP"), interacting with the program Sponsor, project personnel, contractors, subcontractors, and insurers. The Program Professional acts as a key point of contact between Aon, the program Sponsor, and various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Participates in or conducts presentations to the program Sponsor, coordinating with the Program Manager and other Aon personnel.
- Oversees the initiation of CIP administration processes and procedures, ensuring that program Sponsor and insurer interests are addressed and that Aon staff is adequately prepared.
- Ensures all CIP documentation is on file, including presentations, project pro formas, marketing materials, insurance carrier binders and policies, service agreements, project manuals, safety standards, and reports.
- Monitors and is responsible for the financial performance of the CIP program.
- Serves as the Aon point-of-contact for the CIP, conducting periodic meetings with program Sponsor and insurer representatives to discuss project status and resolve issues.
- Oversees project implementation plans, including the issuance of AonWrap reports to the program Sponsor.
- Conducts quarterly stewardship meetings with program Sponsors to evaluate progress and address issues.
- Reviews periodic program claims reports and participates in claims review meetings with Sponsors and insurer representatives.
- Verifies the accuracy of all policies before transmitting them to the sponsor and enrolled parties.
- Performs all duties in compliance with established corporate policies and Project Solutions National Standards.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years, with 5 years preferable, of progressively more responsible experience in the insurance field, particularly in construction insurance.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of construction practices, project administration, and insurance.
- Ability to supervise subordinate staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar scheduling programs.
- Training in Project Management is highly desirable.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with college-level coursework in insurance or risk management preferred.
- Possession of an insurance broker, agent, or producer license in the project's state of operation or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
