Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst - Level 3 or 4
About the role
The Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 3 or 4 position at Northrop Grumman Space Sector is responsible for detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts. This role involves making recommendations to solve problems, creating presentation content, and presenting to various levels of leadership. The analyst also interfaces with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager to prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure horizontal and vertical integration of program schedules.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
- Implement scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: DCMA 14-point IPMR, DI-MGMT-81861, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis.
- Provide weekly status and reporting.
- Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with scheduling software (i.e., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek and SSI Tools).
- Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.

- Experience with resource loading schedules.
- Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience and Schedule Management.
- Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).

Pay
Annual salary ranges for this position are $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 for Level 3 and $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 for Level 4. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date. However, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
