Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst

About the role

The Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler will be hired directly into our Scheduling Center of Excellence and placed on programs within the Mission Systems (MS) Sector. The MS scheduling organization focuses on skill development and creates a pathway for professional development and progression. The Center of Excellence provides training within a standard, common tool suite that allows for speed, productivity and integration while facilitating compliance and focusing on program execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) incorporating all program scope and identifying program milestones with contractual need dates.
• Work with Control Account Managers to decompose program scope into clearly defined tasks, identify internal and external task dependencies, analyze forecast dates impacts, and analyze impacts to the critical path(s).
• Support the business management team with developing an estimate to complete based on assessing resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Manage status updates, develop internal and external reports on program status, and identify risks impacting the achievability of program schedule requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable EVMS Guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Some planning or scheduling related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• Project scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tools.
• Experience in Program Cost Analysis.
• Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
• Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,600.00 - $119,400.00

Schedule

This is an onsite position that offers a 9/80 work schedule.
