Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide national oversight of program activities;
- Provide training and technical assistance on the subject matter to a national network of providers;
- Ensure outcomes and compliance with federal guidelines through monitoring and evaluation activities;
- Collect data, write reports, provide support to the Associate Director in proposal continuation applications;
- Provide strong support and guidance on subject matter to network;
- and Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree with three to five years’ relevant experience with domestic refugee resettlement programs;
- Demonstrated experience providing case management and employment services domestically or relief services overseas is highly desirable;
- Strong writing and computer skills are essential along with a background in grant management and training;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong writing and demonstrated intercultural communication capability;
- Detailed oriented and experience working with tracing and verifying data preferred;
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel and database programs;
- Highly adaptable and flexible with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a demanding work environment;
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team and also work independently is highly desirable;
- Must have the flexibility to travel domestically;
- Dedication to the rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and displaced persons.
Training Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training;
- Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying;
- Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
