Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership and strategic direction of the New Technology and Value Analysis programs at Hoag.
  • Provides clinical support for the Materials Services Department.
  • Serves to ensure that hospital policies covering these and related areas are adhered to.
  • Recommends policies when and where appropriate.
  • Works independently to complete all assigned tasks and duties within the established departmental guidelines.
  • Prioritizes fluctuating workload and time-lines to meet the demands of the position.
  • Maintains and/or improves the quality of care provided to patients.

About the Role

The Clinical Resource Manager is responsible for leading and strategizing the New Technology and Value Analysis programs at Hoag. This role requires clinical support for the Materials Services Department and ensures adherence to hospital policies. The incumbent must recommend policies when necessary and manage a varied workload independently.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated analytical experience with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Computer competency in software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of budget processes, basic finance, and accounting.
  • Proven management skills, including program planning and development, project management, and performance and quality management.
  • Preferred: Registered Nurse with a current license for the State of California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Operating Room or Intensive Care environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
