Program Manager - US Navy

About the role

GHD is seeking a Program Manager – US Navy Eastern US to join their team. This strategic leadership role focuses on supporting Navy missions in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Washington regions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes that meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Navy leadership and decision-makers.
• Develop strategic partnerships with large and small businesses, including design-build contractors and professional service providers.
• Represent GHD at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations to strengthen brand visibility and market position.
• Support client engagement, business development, and account management activities.

Requirements

• A retired Civil Engineer Corps Officer (a plus).
• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from an accredited school in an engineering or related technical field including architecture.
• 10+ years in project management and engagement with US Navy clients.
• Strong ability to cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with NAVFAC leadership, contracting officers, decision makers, and industry partners.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel to industry events and client offices as needed.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $183,870 to $250,150. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centers. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.

Base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
