Program Manager - US Navy

About the role

GHD is seeking a Program Manager – US Navy Eastern US to join their team. This strategic leadership role focuses on supporting Navy missions in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Washington regions. Key responsibilities include ensuring project quality, building relationships with Navy leadership, and representing GHD at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes meeting client expectations
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Navy leadership and decision-makers
• Develop strategic partnerships with large and small businesses, including design-build contractors and professional service providers
• Represent GHD at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations to strengthen brand visibility and market position
• Support client engagement, business development, and account management activities

Requirements

• A retired Civil Engineer Corps Officer (a plus)
• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from an accredited school in an engineering or related technical field including architecture
• 10+ years in project management and engagement with US Navy clients
• Strong ability to cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with NAVFAC leadership, contracting officers, decision makers, and industry partners
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to industry events and client offices as needed

Pay

The salary range for this position is $183,870 to $250,150. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centers. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
