POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Program Manager at LJA in our Transportation department, you will be responsible for recruiting new municipal, state, and regional agency clients while managing the delivery of advanced traffic operations and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) programs. You will serve as the primary relationship builder, bridging the gap between technical TMC engineering teams and public/private stakeholders to improve regional mobility, safety, and infrastructure efficiency.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Business Management, or a related field. Education may substitute for 15+ years in the TMC and Incident Management Leadership Role
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in traffic operations, ITS engineering, or TMC program management
- Proficient in Transportation Management Center software, contract administration, and public-sector budgeting
- Strong understanding of Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), and video distribution frameworks
IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE
- Proven track record of winning public sector infrastructure or transportation technology contracts
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate complex political and bureaucratic agency environments
- An existing professional network within state DOTs, metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), or municipal traffic departments is highly desirable
