Program Manager- SRD

About the role

We are seeking a Program Manager in support of Program Management for the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) for the Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation customer located in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for work related to the program both technical and administrative
• Manage organization of GaN employees and subcontractors
• Frequently engages with customers and staff in order to plan and track all work
• Develops project plans as needed and tracks progress until delivery
• Contributes to the development of project management strategies and processes
• Develops resource management plans and controls program cost
• Develops Work Breakdown Structures where appropriate
• Affords assistance in managing changes associated to projects
• Communicates pertinent information and requirements to staff both customer and corporate
• Ensures quality on all deliverables
• Performs manpower and staffing actions
• Analyzes program risk, develops, and implements mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• PEO Aviation Experience a must, preferably within SRD
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently
• Good understanding of Government contracting
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• PMP desired
