Program Manager Skill Level 2

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Agency Programs in accordance with DAWIA statutes, regulations, policies, and instructions.
• Ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the life cycle of the program.
• Maintain overall authority for all program decisions affecting cost, schedule, or performance baselines.
• Coordinate/facilitate Program requirements, solutions, and implementation activities with business/acquisition, technical leads, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Entry requires a high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant education must be in a Business Field (Program Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics) or a Technical Field (Engineering, Systems Management, Computer Science, Information Technology).
• Relevant experience must be in business (financial trend and forecast, contract management) or program management (project management, trend and forecast analysis, earned value management, cost benefit analysis, balanced scorecard, activity based costing, life cycle cost estimating, activity based budgeting, gap analysis).
• Informal supervisory experience is required.
