Program Manager - PEG

Supporting the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), Helicopter Division (HD) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The HD delivers and fields new and updated rotary wing aircraft, including the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) and the MH-139.

About the role

Program Managers provide planning, research, analysis, and assessment of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions (development, production, and deployment). They formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of DoD acquisition support services.
• Manage data collection, inputs, processing, and tracking for Integrated Product Team (IPT), Branch, and Division managers.
• Consolidate information into draft reports and briefings.
• Use tools such as Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CcaRS), Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), and Portals (AF, HPO) to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and papers in requested media and format (technical/non-technical, classified/unclassified).
• Assist with planning and drafting the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR).
• Consolidate information, generate charts, and facilitate staff meetings for senior program management, including data from tracking systems (travel, accountability, calendars, top issues, suspenses, personnel actions).
• Manage and track internal and external suspense tasks, including Senior Officer Communication and Coordination Electronic Resource (SOCCER) requirements.
• Assist with planning and tracking award review boards, award and decoration packages, Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) inputs, personnel performance reports, and feedback.
• Support division training and preparation of staff summary sheets and packages for staffing to AFLCMC/WI, AFLCMC, AFMC, the AF, and DoD organizations.
• Assist with travel approval worksheets, including drafting estimates and justifications, and consolidating/staffing travel requests.
• Coordinate the HPO Division’s top issues, activity reports, and briefings for AFLCMC/WI staff meetings.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
• Active Secret security clearance.
