Vasion is adopting a Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). As a Program Manager on the PDLC team, you will be an embedded practitioner, coach, and change agent across engineering and product management—not a coordinator. You will split your time between operating the PDLC day-to-day and helping build/improve the framework. Curiosity about AI is part of the job as Vasion moves toward agent-native development.
About The Role

As a Program Manager on the PDLC team, you will be an embedded practitioner, coach teams, build trust through partnership, communicate value of PDLC. Framework Contribution: Partner with VP of PgM to build/refine processes, templates, playbooks, and governance standards. End-to-End Program Management: Own full lifecycle from Discovery to Grow, build program plans, manage risks, facilitate kick-offs/reviews. Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as coordination point between Product, Engineering, Design, QA, Go-to-Market; resolve misalignments. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate program documentation for reproducibility and agent-readiness.
What You Will Do
- PDLC Adoption & Change Enablement: Embed as a practitioner, coach teams, build trust through partnership, communicate value of PDLC.
- Framework Contribution: Partner with VP of PgM to build/refine processes, templates, playbooks, and governance standards.
- End-to-End Program Management: Own full lifecycle from Discovery to Grow, build program plans, manage risks, facilitate kick-offs/reviews.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as coordination point between Product, Engineering, Design, QA, Go-to-Market; resolve misalignments.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate program documentation for reproducibility and agent-readiness.
Requirements
- 5–8 years program management experience in software, at the program level across multiple teams.
- Experience with cross-functional programs across multiple phases of a product/software lifecycle.
- Embedded directly within engineering and/or product management teams (not centralized PMO).
- Participated in or drove a process/operating model change.
- Fluency with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Notion, or Adobe Workfront.
- B2B SaaS or enterprise software experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Dual-track agile, Shape Up, OKR-based planning, or lean frameworks.
- Product management discovery concepts (opportunity mapping, user story mapping, hypothesis-driven development).
- Supported both product management and engineering within the same organization.
- High-growth or PE-backed software environment.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent a plus.
