About the Role
The Program Manager will serve as the primary client contact for pharmaceutical program(s), managing day-to-day program activity and supervising assigned program staff. This role involves extensive interaction with internal and external customers, defining and executing work plans, participating in strategic planning, and ensuring proper execution of contract terms for assigned program(s). The Market Access Program Manager reports to the Market Access Program Director within Valeris’ HUB Services organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage program(s) per the scope of work, program and standard operating procedures within the contracted budget
- Manage the client relationship, gaining trust and building rapport
- Oversee day-to-day activity of program operations, including supervision of staff
- Drive assigned performance responsibilities of team and team members, directly or through supervisors
- Monitor and report on program statistics and metrics used to measure performance
- Escalate issues that jeopardize program delivery to contracted standards
- Prioritize and manage personal schedule as well as the schedules of others
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders for program operational responsibilities
- Contribute to the analysis and writing of client reports and other deliverables
- Present program data, information, and insights to internal and external customers regularly
- Participate in initiatives to improve process and performance with Hub Services leadership and client teams
- Mobilize internal and external stakeholders regarding program design, improvements, or changes
- Travel on a limited basis to attend related meetings/conferences as required
- Participate in interviewing, evaluating, and training employees
- Provide verbal and written feedback to team members based on performance reviews, statistics, QA results, and observed behaviors
- Ensure on-time adherence to training deadlines for corporate policies and procedures governing access to confidential data
- Maintain consistent adherence to all SOPs
- Assist with requirements identification, specifications development, and User Acceptance Testing as needed
- Utilize Valeris’ values as the driving force behind the team’s success
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience working in Reimbursement, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or Patient Services
- Experience managing a team of Case Managers, Patient Service Representatives, or similar roles
- Experience reporting on HUB metrics and communicating trends to clients
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical aptitude and experience working in various CRM software platforms
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to sit for long periods, use hands to type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Preferred typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy
- Flexibility to travel as needed (minimal)
- Operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers
