Program Manager III
About the role
The Information Technology (IT) team at Expedia Group enables the company with productivity tools, support operations, corporate networking, hybrid data centers, network operations center/site reliability, and IT Service Management. The TPM function with IT drives end-to-end delivery for cross-functional technical programs from idea to launch, ensuring the business gets predictable, measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Workplace Productivity team, focusing on AI in the flow of work, endpoints & devices, and SaaS tooling migration/adoption/deprecation.
- Lead the day-to-day management of a complex productivity program, including scope, schedule, risks, and delivery.
- Manage a portion of the Productivity portfolio milestones and contribute to business rhythms (quarterly/annual planning, biweekly portfolio reporting, monthly/quarterly business reviews).
- Create clear, concise, and well-structured communication materials (policies, guidelines, presentations, messages) tailored to different audiences.
- Identify needed resources (people, technology, partners), monitor progress against milestones, and keep stakeholders informed of changes.
- Lead increasingly complex technical projects, coordinating diverse stakeholders to develop solutions and drive decisions.
Requirements
- Strong project/program management experience, including Agile practices and solid process skills and techniques.
- Prior experience supporting or implementing AI tooling in a productivity or workplace context.
- Proven ability to define and deliver against requirements, develop project schedules, and prioritize work to meet milestones.
- Demonstrated experience monitoring progress, managing risks and mitigation plans, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, synthesize varied perspectives, and contribute to solution development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience simplifying complex/technical information for different audiences, including mid-level management.
- Demonstrated understanding of functional information (e.g., data/metrics, technical or regulatory information) and ability to accurately answer related questions.
Qualifications
- Experience with Workplace/End-User Productivity programs (endpoints, devices, SaaS lifecycle: migration, adoption, and deprecation).
- Track record of driving process improvement: identifying bottlenecks, re-using patterns, and simplifying workflows across organizational boundaries.
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle, from idea to launch, and improving product performance based on data.
- Ability to build stakeholder trust, help customers explore broader business challenges, and connect program work to business objectives.
- Experience compiling and analyzing data on process changes to demonstrate impact and inform decisions.
- Demonstrated strength in crafting and improving functional materials (policies, procedures, guidelines, presentations) and tailoring narratives for different audiences.
- Habit of actively seeking and incorporating feedback, anticipating concerns, and refining deliverables proactively.

Pay
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
