Responsibilities
- Create and release project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets.
- Maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule.
- Facilitating IPD Process compliance by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements.
- Facilitate internal and external customer weekly team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists.
- Create Monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects and present them to Executive Leadership.
- Approve POs for material on assigned programs.
- Achievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projects.
- Understands overall BU programs CPI & SPI and coordinates the interactions that affect BU Revenue & Margin.
- Review and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reports.
- Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects.
- Identifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customers.
- Supporting significant proposals with related PMO inputs.
- Initiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and Schedules.
Qualifications, Knowledge, And Skills
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience working within aerospace or a similar technical field preferred.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertise.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Intimate knowledge of people management skills, mainly influence management and conflict resolution.
- General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
- Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000/year. Many of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
Schedule
This job interacts in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. It uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, and copier machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing, and foot protection (as required).
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to stand at length (7-8 hours, daily), walk consistently, stoop, bend, turn, balance and/or crouch, and move about the facility.
- This position requires the ability to skillfully use measuring instruments, hand, and power tools.
- The employee may be required to lift, push, pull and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration.
