Program Manager II

About the role

The Program Manager II will provide contract-level oversight and coordination across all PWS task areas. They will manage staffing, funding projections, and deliverables, coordinate with COR/KO on performance matters, oversee training, security, and compliance requirements, monitor contract performance metrics and reporting, provide technical and editorial support for research projects, assist with the planning and organization of working group meetings, and assist with day-to-day laboratory activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract execution, staffing, deliverables, financial tracking, training compliance, and Government interface.
• Manage staffing, funding projections, and deliverables.
• Cover performance matters with COR/KO.
• Oversee training, security, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain contract performance metrics and reporting.
• Provide technical and editorial support for research projects.
• Aid in organizing working group meetings involving government, academic, and industry experts.
• Support day-to-day laboratory activities, including tissue culture maintenance, running biomedical assays, microscopy, and documenting procedural notes and data in a laboratory notebook.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree.
• Seven (7) years' of related experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Five (5) years' of related experience with a master's degree.
• U.S. Citizenship and a successful background investigation are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Willingness to comply with government vaccination requirements.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with contract administration and financial management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security protocols.
