Program Manager, Data Center Infrastructure Risk

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for data center risk-related matters, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register specific to data center operations.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies and controls.
- Establish Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience working to support technical teams in data center infrastructure components (e.g., power, cooling, networking, servers, storage), operations, and security best practices.
- 5 years of experience with development and maintenance of data center policies and procedures.
- 5 years of experience evaluating data center risk management framework and processes.
- 5 years of experience with data center resilience and security.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working and collaborating with a team to achieve operational priorities and deliver projects.
- Proficient with Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Forms and Groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze opportunities, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills and a ability to engage and influence others.
- Excellent documentation and organization skills.
Pay
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $159000 - $231000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
