Job Summary
The Program Manager will plan and execute multiple technology initiatives for UDX Operations and Technology. This role involves supervising, leading cross-functional teams, and providing strategic direction on various aspects of the programs. Responsibilities include developing and managing project plans, overseeing program execution, facilitating changes, communicating program information, and ensuring alignment on proposed solutions.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop & manage project plans, high-level milestones, GANTT charts, resource plans, and supporting budgets.
- Oversee processes, PI Planning, and Program execution including creation and ownership of timelines and budgets. Facilitate changes to plans and the impacts of those changes, including budgets.
- Provide input to avoid Program bottlenecks. Escalate impediments and manage risks by providing mitigation recommendations.
- Communicate Program Information, status, and key health metrics to stakeholders. Facilitate inter-team communication and resolution of Program-level dependencies.
- Run status meetings and/or scrum team ceremonies (daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc. as needed).
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or higher required. Information Technology or technical degree preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.
- 2+ years of experience supporting/ managing multiple Project Managers or Scrum Masters simultaneously
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
PMP and CSM certs are preferred.
