Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven program management professional to lead complex, cross-functional business and IT-facing initiatives with a strong emphasis on Salesforce-related delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage program scope, objectives, milestones, delivery timelines, and cross-functional dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, workstream views, and executive-level status reporting artifacts.
- Capture and manage Salesforce-related workstreams and ensure alignment between business priorities, IT delivery teams, vendors, and leadership expectations.
- Partner with Salesforce product owners, architects, technical teams, and vendors to support successful end-to-end program execution.
- Oversee Salesforce delivery lifecycle activities including requirements alignment, design coordination, testing, release readiness, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Ensure Salesforce-related decisions, risks, dependencies, and impacts are clearly documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Own or support program forecasting, budget tracking, cost management, and variance reporting throughout the program lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal and external resource needs across business, IT, vendor, and delivery teams while monitoring capacity and delivery commitments.
- Facilitate leadership updates, working sessions, decision forums, steering committee meetings, and cross-team planning sessions.
- Drive clarity around ownership, decisions, action items, risks, and dependencies across all program participants.
- Identify, document, and drive resolution of program-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating proactively when targets are at risk.
- Ensure mitigation plans are clearly understood, owned, and tracked through resolution.
- Provide clear, concise, executive-ready reporting that translates complex program details into business-friendly updates and actionable next steps.
- Ensure decisions, meeting outcomes, risks, issues, and follow-ups are well documented and consistently communicated.
- Drive alignment with established program management standards, governance expectations, and delivery controls.
- Champion consistent delivery practices, program routines, documentation standards, and leadership visibility across all workstreams.
Skills
- Strong program management expertise leading complex, cross-functional business and IT initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Salesforce platform familiarity including delivery lifecycle, release planning, vendor coordination, testing, and business readiness activities.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to distill complex program details into clear status updates, risk summaries, and decision briefs.
- Financial management proficiency including forecasting, budget tracking, variance management, and resource planning.
- Vendor management, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and dependency management capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team facilitation skills with the ability to drive accountability without direct authority.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability with comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Conflict resolution and decision facilitation skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, managed service transitions, or large enterprise CRM programs is a strong plus.
- Experience working in a matrixed enterprise environment with multiple business and IT stakeholder groups is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of project and program management experience with demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional business and IT programs.
- Previous Salesforce program or project experience in an enterprise environment is required.
- Prominent experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and executive-level communications simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, Salesforce product teams, architects, vendors, and senior leadership to drive program outcomes.
- Track record of operating independently, bringing structure to complex initiatives, and delivering results across multiple teams in a matrixed organization.
- PMP or PgMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification is a plus but not required.
- Salesforce-related certifications are a plus but not required.
