Program Manager - Community

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within our partner organizations and support adoption, renewals, and new revenue opportunities.
• Host events, track corporate participation with high attention to detail, and design new ways to increase corporate engagement.
• Own relationships with startups in the accelerator program, conduct intake and exit interviews, and ensure all startups are on track to meet program goals.
• Grow the ecosystem of mentors and venture capitalists to bring more value to the program.
• Set up sessions for startups to meet with mentors, venture capitalists, and corporate partners for the program, collect feedback, and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Wrap up the program with a batch analysis report and individual startup report cards.
• Lead design and execution of signature events (innovation days, pitch sessions, etc.), manage event finances, and build a network of vendors to enhance attendee experience.
• Book venues, brainstorm content, and outreach speakers.
• Create and host events in person and virtually.
• Create and co-host community events to continue engagement and grow the local ecosystem.
• Develop and share upcoming events with the network, create newsletters, social media, and reports, ensuring all materials comply with brand standards.
• Identify target companies by understanding the startup ecosystem and real estate environment, and manage the growth pipeline for maximum occupancy and price.
• Sell leases to startups, secure the sales pipeline by building relationships with entrepreneurs and decision makers, explain, negotiate, and prepare lease contracts, complete all necessary paperwork, and maintain digital records.
• Ensure smooth traffic of startups in the property.
• Produce and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Management or related field experience.
• Project management or process improvement experience.
• In-person and virtual event organization and management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Dependability, accountability, self-awareness, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities.

Qualifications

• Startup or entrepreneurship experience is a plus.
