Position Title: Program Manager, Center for Entrepreneurship
Position Purpose: Manages programs and program delivery, events, center operations, marketing activities, and stakeholder engagement for the Tuck Center for Entrepreneurship.
About the Role
Serves as a key operational and programmatic partner to the Director, ensuring the successful execution of student programs, alumni engagement initiatives, entrepreneurial ecosystem activities, and strategic center priorities.
Responsibilities
- Planning (20%): Develops and implements comprehensive plans to achieve Center program and event objectives. Creates project plans and timelines; coordinates budgets, logistics, communications, registrations, and stakeholder engagement; and maintains Center calendars and planning resources.
- Delivery and Evaluation (25%): Manages all aspects of program execution, including participant registration, communications, scheduling, venue coordination, catering, travel arrangements, evaluation processes, and production of digital and printed materials. Provides on-site and virtual event management, resolves participant issues, supervises support staff and vendors, and ensures a high-quality experience for students, alumni, speakers, mentors, and guests.
- Marketing (10%): Creates and distributes promotional, educational, and program-related content across print, digital, web, email, and social media channels. Collaborates with Tuck Communications and partner organizations to ensure consistent messaging, effective promotion, and strong visibility for Center programs and initiatives.
- Center Operations and Project Management (25%): Oversees Center operations, including budget administration, vendor relationships, expense management, procurement activities, business systems administration, and record management. Maintains and develops data resources related to student and alumni engagement, founders, investors, mentors, and industry contacts. Leads and supports cross-functional projects that advance Center priorities and collaborates with colleagues across Tuck, Dartmouth, and external partner organizations to deliver shared initiatives and opportunities for students.
- Community and Ecosystem Engagement (10%): Serves as a primary point of contact for students, alumni, faculty, prospective students, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders. Builds and maintains productive relationships that strengthen the Center’s community and support programmatic goals. Responds to inquiries, facilitates connections, and helps cultivate engagement across Tuck’s entrepreneurship network.
- Innovation and Professional Development (5%): Contributes ideas, recommendations, and support for initiatives that strengthen Center strategy, operations, programming, marketing, and constituent engagement. Stays informed about trends in entrepreneurship, business education, experiential learning, and related fields through professional networks, market research, conferences, and continuing education opportunities. Applies new ideas and technologies to improve operational effectiveness and participant experience.
Qualifications
- Education and Years of Experience: Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrated experience in program management, event planning, project management, operations, marketing, communications, or related professional work. Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills. Experience using technology platforms to support communications, event management, data management, marketing, and operational workflows. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments and organizations. Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate and exceed stakeholder expectations. Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Commitment to supporting a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and limited travel in support of programs and events.
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000, with benefits available to eligible employees.

Schedule
This position is located on campus in Hanover, NH and requires regular weekly on-site work presence with 1-2 days per week remote flexibility, and full-time presence may be needed during some program delivery weeks.
