Program Manager - Automotive Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
- Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
- Provide help, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations as required.
- Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all adherences made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.
- Reviews program proposal or plan to resolve time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of personnel.
- Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction also has control for different accounts of various complexities.
- Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation in the event of customer issues.
- Reviews customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
- Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
- Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.
- Hold up production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters through business and expertise.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years’ manufacturing industry experience in program administration/management or related area.
- Automotive manufacturing experience ideal, or experience from other highly regulated manufacturers, also desirable.
- Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
- Accountability for the program wellness.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills, are required.

About the Role
The “Program Manager” will be based in Coopersville, MI, reporting to the Manager of Program Management. In this role, you will be In-charge of guiding a team of cross functional experts in the delivery of customer focused products and services and will hold up development and implementation of a project, pricing and program strategies in order to continue to deliver value to the business and its customers.
