About the role
Vision To Learn is expanding its work into Central Oregon, launching a new program serving Bend, Eugene, and surrounding counties. This position oversees the regional staff and manages the mobile vision clinics within their region.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders
- Operate and manage the mobile clinic, including scheduling exams, logistical information, and communication of expected patients
- Ensure patient, school, and regional data is collected accurately and efficiently
- Oversee program-related functions of staff and ensure consistent, quality service
- Work with the Director of Operations to advance the strategy and sustainability of the program
- Create and maintain comprehensive and efficient clinic and vision services operations
- Manage financial operations, including revenues and expenditures
- Coordinate with the Development Team and Director of Operations for grant and partnership development
- Communicate with staff, sites, districts, and families to build long-term community and regional partnerships
- Support clinical and operations staff with training and onboarding
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure new optometrists receive proper training
- Resolve employee relations issues and conduct performance appraisals
Requirements
- Experience working closely with rural communities
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Data analysis and spreadsheet proficiency
- Positive communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivation and a proactive attitude
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
Skills
- Logistics and project management experience
- Budget management responsibilities
- Public speaking and fundraising experience
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
