About the role
Responsible for the management of project/program goals and drives teams to achieve customer business outcomes by providing guidance and managing issues, risks, decisions and action items.
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight and guidance in the development, execution and maintenance of projects, resources, assets and strategic objectives within a program.
- Accountable for scope, quality, schedule and cost management at a program level.
- Manages stakeholder communications.
- Reports status at the program level, including interdependencies, risks and issues.
- Maintains change management across the program, responsible for tracking and analyzing delivery across the entire program.
- Ensures completions of all program related documents and artifacts.
- Performs vendor management and oversight to procurement actions (e.g. Statement of Work development, Purchase Order review).
Requirements
- Six years of experience as a project lead or project manager is required.
- Experience in IT projects and system enhancements are preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.
- Or Bachelor's degree and four years of experience as a project lead or project manager is required.

Qualifications
- Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs consisting of multiple interdependent projects, workstreams, and business units.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) governance, stage-gate methodologies, portfolio management, and project delivery best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage integrated program plans, coordinate cross-project dependencies, and resolve competing priorities across multiple teams.
- Skilled at building relationships and influencing executive sponsors, business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to achieve strategic business outcomes.
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and proactively manage program-level risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and organizational change impacts.
- Ability to facilitate executive steering committees, governance reviews, and leadership presentations that drive informed decisions and program alignment.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget development, forecasting, capital and operating expense management, benefits realization, and financial performance reporting.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices, including Statement of Work (SOW) development, contract oversight, procurement coordination, and vendor performance management.
- Demonstrated success coordinating efforts across Business Systems Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders to deliver complex business and technology initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and executive communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities simultaneously while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, budgets, and expected business benefits.
- Proficiency with enterprise project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
